Although this tower is in good condition; its no longer used. In an Aug 1981 Fire Tower Inspection, it was rated as "Good Condition".

The following information was received from Bob Hagan (DBCA) in August 2019: The Wallace tower was extensively damaged in the 2009 Bridgetown fire, which burnt the cabin and platform and also damages to metal stand. The tower is now (Sep 2019) being assessed for removal.
The photos of the damaged tower/cabin below were supplied by Bob in Sept 2019
