Welcome to
Fire Lookout Towers in
Western Australia, Australia

All initial information about the towers in Western Australia was supplied by John Evans, unless stated otherwise.
Additional research and verification was undertaken by Max Le Clercq, known as MLC on the relevant pages.

The towers are in various Regions, according to the DBCA boundaries in 2017.
The original Forest Department was dissolved in March 1985 and became CALM (Conservation And Land Management) and it changed it's name to DEC (Department of Environment and Conservation) in 2007 and to DPaW (Department of Parks and Wildlife) in 2013. The DPaW was dissolved on June 30 2017, and was combined with the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, the Zoological Parks Authority, and the Rottnest Island Authority, to become the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA). That is still the current agency (June 2020)
